Tenzin Seldon

Tenzin Seldon is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pulse Fund, a pioneering growth equity fund investing in global, scalable companies with distinct climate metrics.Tenzin Seldon, a climate leader and solutionist, has been on the frontlines of migration, social enterprise, tech and climate work for over a decade and a half. Tenzin co-founded The Plant, a $350M New York-based project with a bold vision to create a net-negative global home for climate solutions through the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Prior to The Plant, Tenzin served as a Board Member and Senior Advisor to Earth’s Call Fund (now One Earth), which is in partnership with Lever for Change, an affiliate of the MacArthur Foundation. Tenzin also worked at the UN Environment Programme in Thailand, where she oversaw the region’s national disaster risk reduction policy.

She is an advisor and/or serves on several boards, including Marathon Digital Holdings, Stanford University’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, UN NGO Creative Visions Foundation.

Tenzin’s work has been recognized globally: as Forbes magazine’s “Most Likely to Impact the Next Century”; World Economic Forum Global Shaper; a Harry S. Truman Scholar by the U.S. Congress; and one of OZY Magazine’s “5 Civil-Rights Leaders for a New Generation”. In 2018, she received the 21st Century Icon Awards by the London Stock Exchange. And she was honored at the United Nations as an Innovative Disruptor. Tenzin graduated top of her class at Stanford University and went on to be the first Tibetan-American Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford.
