Shirin is a seasoned expert in capital markets. She has successfully raised capital as CFO and CEO and has helped companies navigate capital raises and partnerships as board director and as advisor.

Having served as CFO of large organizations, Shirin embarked upon an entrepreneurial venture and helped grow Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), first as its CFO and then as CEO for over 20 years.

As CEO, Shirin successfully partnered with private equity to further HFC’s growth and to usher in substantial successes in forming an operating platform for the company’s multiple brands. Through strategic enhancements of all of the facets of the company’s infrastructure, Shirin was able to create one of the largest and most respected home-related franchise systems in the world spanning over 12,000 cities in all of North America with installations of over 70,000 per week and consumer product sales of over $850M. In 2019, Shirin worked closely with her PE partners and helped organize a successful exit having more than doubled the value of the Company in a short four years.

Shirin has served on boards both as operating CEO, CFO and as an independent director. She uses her years of experience as an operator and financial expert to bring effective, strategic and collaborative point of view to her boards. In addition to years of board service at Home Franchise Concepts, Shirin has served as an independent director in partnership with private equity.

Shirin Behzadi is an immigrant from Iran and started her working career as an attendant at a gas station when she was 17 years old. She lives in Orange County, California with her husband and is very close to her two children, Sam and Sara, who live in Los Angeles.
